Pricing
Starlink installation starting at $350.
That covers a standard install: single-story roof, eave, or ground mount, up to 75 feet of cable, a sealed entry point, and network setup.
Quoted separately after we look at the property: pole and tower mounts, non-penetrating ridge mounts, cable runs past 75 feet, attic or wall penetrations that need extra work, and trips well outside the county.
Hardware at cost, no markup. Most customers order their own Starlink kit from starlink.com and we install it — there’s no surcharge for customer-supplied equipment. If you’d rather we handle it, we buy the kit and pass it through at what we paid.
Mounts we install
Roof and fascia mounts for composition shingle. Non-penetrating ridge mounts when you don’t want holes in a new roof. Wall and eave mounts. Pole and ground mounts for getting above a tree line.
Metal roofs get different hardware and different sealant than shingle. Getting that wrong doesn’t show up the day of the install — it shows up as a leak two seasons later.
What we run into around Grayson County

Trees.
The oak cover west and south of Sherman blocks more sky than people expect. Starlink needs a clear view north. If the house sits under post oaks, the answer is usually a pole mount out in the open or a mount on the shop roof — not the house.
Metal buildings.
Barndominiums and metal shops are everywhere out here. Metal roofs need the right mount and the right fasteners, and metal walls block Wi-Fi hard — router placement matters a lot more than it does in a stick-built house.
Distance to the outbuilding.
Plenty of places out on the FM roads have the house in one spot and the barn or shop two hundred feet away. We put the dish where the sky is clear and get signal to both buildings, rather than mounting where it’s convenient and hoping the Wi-Fi carries.
Lake properties.
Pottsboro, Gordonville, and the Texoma shoreline are exactly the kind of place fiber never reached. Weekend places and cabins are some of the most common installs we do.
Service area
Sherman, TX and across Grayson County: Denison, Howe, Van Alstyne, Whitesboro, Pottsboro, Bells, Tom Bean, Southmayd, Collinsville, Gunter, Sadler, and the rural properties in between.
Cameras while we’re out there
Most of the properties we run Starlink to don’t have cameras either — and the same trip that gets your internet working can get a camera on the gate and the shop. Hardwired systems, recorded on site, built for driveways and outbuildings rather than a doorbell on a suburban porch.
Common questions
Starting at $350 for a standard install. Non-standard mounts and long cable runs get quoted on site, before any work starts.
Most installs run two to four hours. Pole mounts and long cable runs take longer.
Most people order theirs from starlink.com and we install it. We can also supply the hardware at cost, no markup.
Yes. Every penetration gets sealed properly and the hardware is matched to your roof type. On a newer roof we’ll often recommend a non-penetrating mount instead.
Very common here. We check obstructions before mounting anything, and if the house won’t work we find a spot that will — a pole out in the open, or the shop roof.
